Classic at first glance, on the first handle. With the new Kelchglasserie STARlight the German drinking glass manufacturer goes Stölzle Lausitz One step further into a new dimension: Machine glass has never been so close to the mouth-blown glass with a graceful, slim stem and tender-thin-walled chalice.

STARlight is a glassery with a balanced shape. A seamless and deeply drawn transition between the stem and chalice as well as a fireplace made of lead -free crystal glass gives the goblet glass a high functionality and a harmonious appearance. Overall, the series comprises a burgundy glass, a Bordeaux Glass, a Red Wine Goblet, a White Wine Glass as well as one Champagne Goblet.

The special thing about the new series is the thickness - in this case better thin - of the glass. The stem has a diameter of around ten percent lower than with conventional mechanically produced glasses. And the chalice also has a noticeably thinner glass thickness in the fireplace compared to other glasses from machine production. This provides the glasses of the series STARlight A new lightness and an extraordinary elegance. They also have the characteristics of dishwasher appropriation and break resistance, which are used to the stolen glasses. This makes them as made for the upscale gastronomy, 5-star hotels, innovative wine bars and the entire professional area as well as to enjoy at home.

The glasses of the new Kelchglasserie STARlight are manufactured in the so -called drawing process. In the mechanical glass production, the stem is pulled from a glass ppline, sitting on the go, as is also the case with the manual technology of oral glasses. This enables a long -drawn and seamless transition between the glass elements chalice and stem, which is not common in other machine methods. Stölzle Lausitz As one of the few glass manufacturers worldwide, the drawing process in permanently high quality is implemented. With the technology of the particularly fine blowing of the glass that has now been achieved, this quality can be increased again in the direction of the craftsmanship.

The new STARlight-glasses were presented in February at the Ambiente Mass in Frankfurt am Main. For restaurateurs, they can be used with the common filling lines (see PDF below). The recommended sales price for end users is 9.00 euros for the Burgundy- or that Bordeaux Glass, at 8.80 euros for the Red Wine Goblet as well as at 7.90 euros for the White Wine Glass and the Champagne Goblet.
