Today at the "Give Something Away Day", it is in the USA, as the name of the day reveals to share things with each other: be it money, help or just time together. The action day goes back to the American Linda Eaton Hall-Fulcher, who launched him in 2014 in cooperation with the web portal Nationaldaycalendar.com. On the day of parts, the gesture counts. It doesn't have to be much. Rather, the focus is on the cohesion and the "being for each other". How about a chilled drink, for example? For example, a peach orange lemon iced tea? Perfect for summer. You can find the right recipe here.
Recipe: peach-orange lemon iced tea
- 5 pieces of peaches
- 2 pieces of lemons
- 1 piece of orange
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 500 ml black tea (4 bags)
- 1 l water
- Ice cubes
Preparation:
- Cook 500ml of water and let the black tea bag steep for about 3 minutes. Let the tea cool down.
- Boil 1l of water in a separate pot with sugar. Wash the peaches, remove it, remove the shell and cut them into cubes. Simmer the sugar water and the peach cubes for 5 minutes and then let it steep for another 45 minutes. Now mix the sugar water with the peach cubes and black tea.
- Wash the lemon and orange well and then cut into slices. Put in the bowl with the sugar water, oranges and black tea. Stir everything well again and then 1-2 hours of cold stations.
- Get the panes of the peaches, lemons and from the oranges out of the bowl (preferably everything once).
- Wash the lemon well before serving and then cut into thin slices, then put them in a glass and pour the iced tea with the peach orange lemon.
