Stölzle Lausitz will be documenting its high standard of providing the connoisseur with the right glass for every beverage, especially in the wine glass segment, in a variety of ways during the upcoming Intergastra trade fair in Stuttgart: With the Weinland series, the German drinking glass manufacturer is showing an extensive wine glass collection that can look back on two decades of market relevance; with the Power series, it is presenting the current, urban interpretation of the wine glass, which recently won the German Design Award.
The German Design Award speaks for itself. This internationally renowned design prize is only awarded to products that stand out from the crowd. The Power series from Stölzle Lausitz succeeds in this by far not only because of the long stem of the wine glasses. With the avant-garde design of the goblet, these glasses reflect the spirit of the times without sacrificing any functional advantages in terms of beverage appropriateness. For example, even a small amount of wine is optimally aerated by the widest point located at the bottom level of the goblet, and the bouquet is also specifically focused by the long and straight chimney.
Stölzle Lausitz proves that this wine glass shape also works without the traditional stem with the glass tumblers that complement the Power series. The designation white wine and red wine tumblers already signals that with these glasses an alternative has been found for relaxed garden parties or standing receptions, which are of course also suitable for other drinks - stylishly without a stem.
While the Power series is oriented towards a cubic design, the Weinland series from Stölzle Lausitz features an organic design. Harmonious curves and balanced proportions define its appearance. The series was first introduced exactly 20 years ago and was subsequently successively expanded. Today, a wide range is available, especially for the catering trade: Due to their robustness, the glasses are particularly suitable for caterings of all kinds, wine festivals and larger events. In addition, some glasses in the series have a particularly short style. Restaurateurs benefit from this in terms of saving space when storing the glasses or in the dishwasher. The breadth of the series is also an advantage: red wine glasses, white wine glasses, sweet wine goblets, various tumblers, tumblers and distillate glasses (especially for whisky) offer the perfectly matched glass for every occasion. Stölzle Lausitz is accompanying the anniversary of the Weinland series with attractive offers.
Both series, as well as the other glass series of the company, are manufactured at the headquarters in Weißwasser in Saxony. The tradition-rich location was a center of German glass production for a long time. Stölzle Lausitz GmbH, which continues the production site with a history of almost 130 years, stands in the tradition of the high art of glassmaking in Lusatia. As one of only a few producers worldwide, the company masters the machine drawing process for goblets, which is very close to handcrafted production, at a consistently high level. The result of this competence are glass series that meet the highest standards in quality and design - now and for decades to come.
