The champagne shell can also be used as a cocktail glass or cocktail shell. From a champagne shell, also called cupette, you drink short drinks without ice cream just as from a Martiniglas. You can achieve the best result when you cool the glass. The outside pages of the trapezoidal chalice are straightforward, the goblet floor is flat. This shape gives the wine a maximum of space for breathing, especially when a relatively small amount is poured into the glass. This benefits the flavors and taste of the wine.
