The German glass manufacturer Stölzle Lausitz will be presenting itself at the international consumer goods trade fair Ambiente in Frankfurt am Main from February 7 to 12, 2020. At the well-known and proven location at booth D23 in hall 4.2, visitors can expect some novelties again this year.
For example, Stölzle Lausitz will be presenting its new goblet glass series STARlight this year, which is classic at first glance, but trend-setting at first touch. The special feature of the new series is the thickness - or rather thinness in this case - of the glass. The stem, for example, has a diameter that is around ten percent smaller than that of conventional machine-produced glasses. And the goblet also has a noticeably thinner glass thickness in the chimney compared to other machine-produced glasses. This gives the glasses in the STARlight series a new lightness and an extraordinary elegance. In addition, they have the usual features of Stölzle glasses, such as dishwasher suitability and breakage resistance. This makes them perfect for upscale restaurants, 5-star hotels, innovative wine bars and the entire professional sector, as well as for enjoying at home.
Another innovation is the HIGHLIGHT series, which features a completely new glass concept: A new type of technology is hidden in the glass base, which illuminates the stem of the glass once it has been lifted, creating a particularly atmospheric effect. The glass glows until it is set down again. Lifting the glass again immediately reactivates the light. The HIGHLIGHT glasses with their high stem, the seamless transition to the goblet and the slender shape of the goblet ensure that even before the effective glow, the glasses make an appearance that lends elegance to special occasions. In addition to the sparkling wine glass, the HIGHLIGHT concept also includes a white wine glass and the L'AMOUR champagne glass with satin hearts on the goblet.
The new glass concept with its perfect form also convinced the jury of the German Design Award. The Highlight Champagne Glass is one of the 2020 winners of the coveted award in the Excellent Product Design Tabletop category. The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious design awards with great national and international significance. The prize is awarded for innovative products and projects in various categories by the German Design Council. A top-class international jury ensures the quality of the award.
In addition to Ambiente, Stölzle Lausitz will also be presenting its new products at the Gastro Ivent trade fair in Bremen (09.02.-11.02., Hall 7, C45), the Nordgastro in Husum (10.02.-11.02., Hall 1, B14) and the Intergastra trade fair in Stuttgart (15.02.-19.02., Hall 6, A40).
